ARC – Deadline for same-day changes
We have been working on WNS to take over our ARC reconciliation process. WNS will work different hours than 8am-5pm MST as they are in India. They will be working from 5:00am to 2:00pm MST. This aligns perfectly with the ARC reconciliation deadline changing from 10:00pm to 12:00 noon MST in January 2024.
Please submit any same-day ticketing changes you need as early in the day as possible. If change requests are submitted after 1:00pm MST, we cannot guarantee the same-day changes will be processed.
Reminder: Please submit all ARC Support requests directly to ARCSupport@cbtravel.com. WNS will be monitoring this email address.
New fraud alert - phishing emails from fake third-party GDS provider
ARC has been seeing a recent phishing email posing as “Travel Technology Solution,” claiming to be a third-party GDS provider. They ask the email recipient to verify their access for Level 3 security by clicking on a link.
Remember, real GDS providers will NEVER ask anyone to log into their systems through an email link. If you think a GDS provider needs you to do something, always go directly to the GDS to log in. Never click on an email link.
Debit memo corner – tips to prevent more debit memos
Make sure that a ticket is fully refundable by checking the fare rules before refunding it. If it’s an exchange ticket, make sure that there wasn’t a previous non-refundable original ticket before you process any refund.
