PTO policy update
HUMAN RESOURCES
Hey Team,
We’re making exciting updates to our Paid Time Off (PTO) policy for optimal work-life balance and operational efficiency. Most changes take effect February 1, 2025, with the PTO accrual cap starting July 1, 2025, to allow time to use PTO under the cap. The updated policy will be available in the employee handbook.
Overview of the new policy:
What’s changing
No reduction in time off
Total PTO remains the same.
Lower accrual rates are balanced by new scheduled Summer & End-of-Year Breaks while keeping PTO flexible.
PTO accrual cap (Effective July 1, 2025)
PTO accrual will pause once you reach the annual max for your tier.
To continue accruing, use PTO to stay below the cap.
Administrative break periods
Break time will be scheduled based on department needs and appear in ADP like floating holidays.
Breaks must be used as a single block within the designated period (dates will be communicated in advance).
Breaks include standard holidays in addition to provided time off.
Next steps:
Review the updated PTO policy – See attached.
ADP will be updated by the end of next week to reflect the changes
Team Meetings– Either your direct manager or the executive you roll into will be setting up a team meeting next week where we will let you know the administrative break periods for your department for this year and answer any general questions you may have.
Questions? - Please feel free to reach out to your manager at any time with questions specific to your situation.
Thank you for your hard work! We hope these changes help you recharge and maintain a strong work-life balance.
