New way to reach ARC support team and tips to prevent debit memos

ACCOUNTING

ARCSupport@cbtravel.com

Please note, we have changed the way to reach out to our ARC Support Team. Instead of just emailing Addie Ohrn, ARC Specialist, directly (or entering the request in JIRA Help Desk), please email the entire ARC Support Team at ARCSupport@cbtravel.com.  ARC only allows changes to GDS bookings for 24 hours now including exchanges. We want to make sure the entire team is aware of requests and able to resolve them timely if someone is on PTO or has an emergency.

The following are some of the reasons you would want to email ARC support:

  • Add a commission to a ticket

  • Adjust an exchange

  • Void a ticket within 24 hours

  • Add a refund penalty, commission, or waiver code, or

  • Look up a residual MCO

Tips to prevent more debit memos

Alaska Airlines has implemented a stricter churning policy, effective since 2023, which limits agents to booking and cancelling a segment only twice. We just recently found out with a significant number of debit memos. Any additional booking of the same segment is now deemed as churning, whether within a single record or across multiple records. Be cautious when rebooking with Alaska Airlines as their policy is notably more stringent compared to most other airlines.
