Major milestones with Travelport+

ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT

Our partnership with Michigan State University (MSU) kicked off on 1/8/2024, marking a significant milestone with an annual spend of approximately $12M. MSU is the first new account to be initially implemented on TP+, a great achievement made possible by the dedicated efforts of multiple teams. Thank you to everyone involved for their support, collaboration, and expertise in streamlining the account setup. 

During implementation, Kaleen Klein and Juwairiah Khan and their team expertly handled group requests before the go-live date. Pam Rex, the account manager for MSU, conducted live meet-and-greet sessions on campus in collaboration with Angela Cain and Nathan McClellan from Operations. These sessions provided an excellent opportunity for Christopherson to connect with travelers and arrangers, setting the stage for an excellent partnership.

Jake Jensen from the Implementation & Client Services team has been working hard auditing and updating hotel portfolios for TP+. Over the past month, the reception team's assistance in gathering contact information from hotels has significantly contributed to the success of this project. A big thank you to both teams for their valuable contributions.

We wanted to take a moment to recognize all the hard work that has gone into the TP+ migration project, including GDS Support and Online Tech. Your dedication is instrumental in transitioning our clients to a platform that will better serve their needs. A big shout out also goes to our advisors who have adeptly managed training and operations in two GDS systems. You all rock!
