AirPortal: V3 Approvals

Edited

Not promoted as it requires the traveler to have a profile in AirPortal, meaning it does not support guest travel and will error out. SOLA is a big user of this but we still have quite a few other clients who are using this now as well.

There is NO rules engine connected to V3 so if V3 approvals is turned on EVERY trip will be sent to approval.

Important Note: AirPortal does not update the activity in the PNR during the approval process. If a client calls an advisor and cancels the booking, this does NOT cancel the approval.  The advisor or AM should advise the caller to have the approver deny the booking. The PNR is then sent to Compleat and Compleat will cancel the PNR itinerary.

If approval reminders are setup, those reminders will continue to be sent until the end of time or until one of the approvers denies/approves the trip. There is no way someone can go into the approval and deny in the approver’s behalf.
